A Medieval Tower, a Single Day, and the Heart of Frozen

Some projects are more than just a shoot—they become stories in themselves.

That’s exactly what happened with the music video for Jouw Verliezen, from Disney’s Frozen.

We knew from the start: this wasn’t just a song. It’s a moment of deep emotion—a conversation between two sisters, full of love, pain, and memory. So the setting had to match. We needed something timeless, intimate, and full of character.

That’s how we ended up in a medieval castle tower, hidden away in the countryside. No elevator, just winding stone stairs—and on the sixth floor, a breathtaking loft space with original wooden beams, soft daylight pouring through small windows, and even a fireplace crackling in the background. That day, we transformed it into our very own film studio.

Why We Chose This Setting

Frozen has always been about more than magic—it’s about connection. The bond between two sisters who find strength in each other. We wanted the video to reflect that warmth, that quiet emotional depth. So we stripped it all back: just Vajèn and Nienke, who play Elsa and Anna in the Dutch production, singing heart-to-heart in a space that feels both ancient and alive.

How It Came Together

We recorded all the vocals and music in the studio, fully produced by Mosaic. Then we packed up and climbed those stairs—equipment, lights, cameras, everything—and turned that top-floor loft into a cinematic dream. In just one day, we captured everything: the sound, the vision, the emotion.

The result is a music video that feels honest and close.

A moment suspended in time.
